DIED -- at Princeton, May 19th, Henry FLOTO, aged 30 years.
In 1860 Mariposa county CA census there's a Henri FLOTO, age 29, PoB DEU, Miner; wife Josepha, 29, DEU, child Eliza, 1, CA. Apparently couple had another child (Frank H) about time of his death and wife (nee MEYERS) remarried per 1870 Mariposa county CA census. In same household: Geo A LEIDIG, 59, Wurtenburg, Josephine LEIDIG, 39, Wurtenburg; Louisa A LEIDIG, 2, CA; Eliza FLOTO, 10, CA; Frank H FLOTO, 8, CA. It appears Frank H shows up in 1900 Madera county CA census. Leidig family involved in early developments in Yosemite Valley.
