That is a possibility, since I know the family lived in Washington Co., MO as early as 1852, perhaps sooner.I am told they are listed in the 1850 census there, but I have not searched that yet.The timing seems reasonable, Wiley would have been about 50 and Mary Ann (Mosier) would have been about 41 at the birth of your Rena.I cannot confirm the relationship, since I do not have your Rena in my data.My data ends with Sarah Ann Flowers. I do not have any additional information on Wiley Flowers except what I listed in the previous note.I am descended from Mary Ann Mosier's brother Joel R. Mosier (though my connection is unproven, I'm working on it).The Mosier (Moser) family is well researched with the possible exception of this particular branch. This Moser line goes back to Johann Martin Moser (b. 1699-1706) who came to this country on the ship James Goodwill in 1728.
Do you know how many siblings your Rena had?If she was one of the younger or youngest siblings, then we may have a connection. If she was one of the older siblings, then she may be a niece or something.
