I have heard and read about Ignatious and Goldsborough FLowers- and know they are a main branch of American Flowers.I know also that John Flower (Jamestown) is another major branch.Have only gotten back as far as Duncan Lamon FLowers- who died in 1834 at age 30 leaving behind my g-grandfather W.W. Flowers. My g-father is a John Calvin and the only one I have heard of in our line.He lived in NC except for about 10 years in Arkansas just before the turn of the century. His first wife, several children and father (W.W.) died there before he returned.
I feel that after 1 or 2 more generations are found that we will be able to 'plug in' to much research already done / known.
MANY THANKS for your interest and I will let you know if I can connect to the Ignatious FLowers if and when I find out.Best of luck in your research!!!!Art Flowers
