Did you see this post on Ancestry (see below)? Do you have any idea what the source for this info is? I mean where they may have gotten the material to submit to LDS. I replied with this question to the post but haven't gotten a response.

Flowers b. 1705, Dorchester Co. MD, & d. 1743, Somerset, MD, and was married to Mary Goldsborough b. 14 Dec 1702,
Anne Arundel Co., MD & d. 15 Jan 1742, Talbot Co., MD, and all the chidren I have record of are

John Flowers, b. 1738, d. Edgecomb, MD.
Ignatious Flowers, b. 1740 Dorchester, MD, d. 25 Oct
1793, Bladen Co., NC
Richard Flowers, b. 1745, d. 1770
Edward Flowers, b. 1746, d. 1775
