You are correct. There is no county in Maryland named Dobbs, nor has there ever been. I have lived & researched in western MD for 16 years now.

No, I am not from the Maryland Flowers family. My line is the western Tennessee Flowers back thru North Carolina to Isle of Wight Co., Virginia (1656), a branch of the Christopher Flower (b: 1542 England) family.
