Hi. Do you have a listing of the children of Francis and John Floyd of Rowan County, NC? I am descended from either Henry (Ussiler) or Thomas (Mary) Floyd, who were in the 1820 census of Logan County, KY. Later census records show that Henry was from NC, b. 1777. Henry came to Kentucky between 1800 and 1814. He immediately purchased several hundred acres of land and was possessed of half a dozen slaves. Thomas joined him about 1818. Henry and Thomas had children, including: Henry Jr., William, Charles S., John M. or N., Sarah, Nancy, Keziah, Abigail, and Anna. There were others, names unknown. Having eliminated Granville County Floyds, only John of Rowan County, really ssems to fit as father of Henry and Thomas from viewing the households in census records of 1810. Admittedly this is weak, but I am just looking for a direction to go in. Can you eliminate Francis and John of Rowan, as having sons, grandsons, etc., named Henry and Thomas, born ca 1780? Thanks.
