Leonard arrived in America in 1894 and married Millie in 1899 or early 1900---probably in Hancock county, Iowa. They moved to ND shortly thereafter and homesteaded in Ward County but left the property before the 1910 census. They reportedly stayed in the area.

Millie was the daughter of Soren Oleson and his wife Bertha (possibly her middle name was Johanna) of unknown last name but which may have been the basis for some members of the family using the name Letvig.

Anyone out there with knowledge of this family???
