Wow, you've done a lot of homework!!!Now I understand the Flyte family in Evelyn Waugh's "Brideshead Revisited".I wrote to Wm. F. Buckley, Jr. years ago to find out what he knew re the Flyte family in England.He knew nothing.He had hosted "Brideshead Revisited" on TV.
I descend from Johannes Fleit and Margaaret Pfefferler.Fortunately, there has been no confusion whatsoever in my tracing of the family and I have been in contact with Lois Flyte as well.
