Hello, I read your message on your grandfather. I have been trying to get information on him for many years only I didnt know his name. You see, I am writing a novel based on a true story. The house in Litchfield is the main story background of my book. You see, I used to live there. Many years ago. I have vague memories of that house my whole life. Somehing happened in that house that prompted me to write this novel. I just asked my mother today for the owners name as I was afraid she would not remember it in the past. And she told me that he was a travel writer named Foder. She, too, remembers the home well, with the exception of the address. She told me that almost all of the rooms were brought over by ship in the 1800"s. If and I believe you are, the same Foder, I would love to pick your brain. I would like to know what happened to the house. If it was kept up all these years. And I want to know its history. And its address. and so on. Thanking you in advance for any possible help, Gail
