Hello: My name is Debbie Odor Wagner. I was told that the family name was Fodor; but the "F: was droppd sometime between Hungary and the trip over to Ellis Island in New York City when my grandpa came over. My grandfather came to Ellis Island when he was 14yrs old from Hungary. His step mother was Martha Deak and she had a sports bar in Detroit, MI. My grandfather's name was John and that his mom died when he was 5yrs old. It is reported that a policeman found Grandpa JOhn and married Martha Deak. The family suspected that Martha took John and raised him because it was suggested that he was the biological son of Marhta's brother. I suspect that we have a match. I have much to share.
