The name Fodor can have different spelling. Many people changed the spelling when landed as immigrand in a new land. The names could be Foedor, Fedor, Fodor, Foder, Foeder, Foedorowitsch, Fedorowitsch or Foderowitsch.
If your grandparents came from Hungary it could be Fodor. Part of Hungary was Austria and Germany and changed after the wars. If you know that your ancestors are from Hungary you can go to the forum

If you your spelling is oe I would appreciate if you let me know. That spelling is almost impossible to find and goes back to Germany and Russia. Foder and Fedor goes back to Germany and other German speaking countries before and after the 2 wars.
Thank you.
