Fogarty and Woodlock
Posted by: Carol Dale Date: February 09, 2002 at 17:51:36

I have in my direct tree, an Andrew FOGARTY who married a Margaret Woodlock in 1834 in Tipperary. Andrew and Margaret arrived on the AGINCOURT, arriving Sydney on 8 April 1852, under an assisted immigration scheme. They bought 7 of the 8 children with them, and Ellen (b 7 April 1850 died on the voyage and was held in quarantine. (d. April 1852).

Daughter Bridget came to Australia on the EXODUS, arriving Sydney 26 July 1855.

The family settled in the Nundle area of New South Wales.

There is one entry on IGI for the marriage of Andrew to Margaret, and a pedigree file for a John Woodlock. I am trying to establish if Margaret was a daughter of John.

I have a mass of Fogarty information, that I am willing to share.

Thanking you in anticipation

Carol Dale
