John Ryan m a Fogarty - Prince Edward Island

This one is a bit of a reach and still in the formative stages. Family lore has it that a John Ryan born 1864 was married to a Margaret Larkin in Cardigan PEI. Sometime after 1890, he or his son, also named John (John Joseph), married a Fogarty in Prince Edward Island. This is all I know right now. It is unclear as to when John Jr. was born (Est. 1890 -1895) or where he ended up. John Sr. was a merchant in Cardigan PEI and apparently John Jr. followed in his footsteps. Family history suggests that he moved on to the Boston area, sometime after 1917. The original Ryans in this line came from Kilkenny, John Sr's father's name was Patrick. Anything on my missing Fogarty connection greatly appreciated.
