brian,

my uncle george fogarty was killed in action in vietnam in 1966. he is the younger brother of my father, Robert and they were born and raised a long with 4 other siblings in Elma, Iowa. I am commencing my geneolgy search and any tips would be helpful. currently i know my grandfather francis fogarty was born and raised in NE Iowa and his father was John Fogarty. we do not know who immigrated to the states from Ireland.
