FOGARTY, ROBERT A., 73, of Warwick, died Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at Harborside Healthcare, Pawtuxet Village. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth A. (Gormley) Fogarty for 50 years.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Joseph Fogarty and Dorothy (Greer) Fogarty-Cahill, he had been a Warwick resident for 45 years. Mr. Fogarty was employed as a chromium plater for International Chromium Plating for 25 years before retiring. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Besides his wife, he is survived by seven children, Christopher R. Fogarty of Arnold, MD, Kenneth J. Fogarty of Warwick, William F. Fogarty of Delray, FL, Edward T. Fogarty of Beverly, MA, Nancy J. Webb of Warwick, Thomas P. Fogarty of Delray, FL, and Kathleen M. Cardoza of Warwick; 2 brothers, John C. Fogarty of Cumberland, Francis J. Fogarty of Hollywood, FL; one sister, Dorothy M. Glascock of AZ. He was the brother of the late Mary T. Ferland, Rev. William E. Fogarty and Thomas E. Fogarty. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, October 21 at 11am in St. Timothy Church, Warwick Ave. Burial will be private. Visiting hours and flowers are omitted. Contributions to the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226 will be appreciated. Arrangements with Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home.
