Our family has "hit a wall", apparently at a parish in Ballybristy or Ballycurrane in 1811. I have Martin Maher (I think it was Martin- I'm doing this from memory) baptized in that parish in Ballybristy in 1811. There was a woman named Fogarty present at that baptism, as well as a woman named Elizabeth (?) O'Dwyer, and possibly a man named Purcell. This Martin Maher later named a woman named Anne Fogarty. Among their children was a John J. Maher, who married Elizabeth Kearney and migrated to Cass County Iowa USA in 1871.
So I am trying to find out more about that Anne Fogarty that married Martin (?) Maher. This Anne Fogarty would have been born/baptized probably 1813-1815 or 1820 at the latest, probably in that same parish in Ballybristy.
Any help you could give me with that Fogarty line would be very much appreciated. That is all we know about her. Of course any help with that Maher line before 1811 would also be appreciated.
