Fogel is German/English means Bird

For those of you that didn't know, I wanted to share my information I learned tonight from a friend in Germany visiting here.
Fogel in German translated to English is Bird sometimes spelled Burd.
Check the other translation Bird for your family. I also know it is Vogel too.
I thought when my Mother told me the surnames she meant 3 different families. Could be she knew they were the same.
I have a Margaret Bird in my Family.(Fogel)
Hope this helps.
Betty
