Sabra,

I read your posting on Genforum with much interest. I too have Fogg connections to Winn and would love to exchange info. I trace to the family of John Fogg, who came to Winn from Township 4/Springfield with his family in the late 1850's. They were present for the 1860 Winn census. Hiw wife was Harriet Glidden Mains from Passadumkeag/Grand Falls. Among the children there was Darius Fogg, who lived into the 1920s. Frederick Fogg, my great grandfather, spent time with Darius at Forest City and Aroostook County and lived into the 1930s. A daughter, Rebecca married Albert Moore and was present for the 1870 Winn census. Another child was Ira Fogg, who married Susan Hurd and who was present for the 1870 Winn census. He died about 1874 and is buried in Winn. I'm curious about your reference to an Uncle Charles and really any info you would be willing to share. Feel free to email me directly if you prefer. kclar@hawken.edu

Best regards,

Ken Clark
