Kenneth,
Interested to see your excellent website re Fogge.

John Fogge, Lord of Repton, Ashford Kent. was a Captain under my ancestor Robert Horne at m various incidents in the 15th century, and with John Scotte of Scotte Hall in Brabolurne became known as the trio of Knights un der King Henry VI. CHANGING SIDES in 1460 to join Earl Warwick and Edward Plantagenet and Fogge & Scotte fougth under my amncestor at the battle of Towton 29th March 1461. Scotte and FoggE being knighted, my ancestor was killed there.
RECORDS TELL ME THAT THESE WERE HIS BROTHER-INM-LAWS, BUT i HAVE FOUND MAGARET SCOTTE MARRIED TO HENRY HORNE but cannot find a Fogge connection.

Your ref to the Criol, Criel Knights, I find this must be the Kyriel Family, one who died at the 2nd battle of St Albans 17th Feb 1461 Sir John Kryiel as a Yorkist.

My E Mail. geoffrey.horne~ukonline.co.uk

web site. <thehornesite.com>

kind regards, Geoffrey.
