I am seeking information on Solomon Berry and possible children that he and Mary Jane Fogg Hamblet may have had.
Mary Jane Fogg, b. 17 June 1819 at Saco, Me., daughter of William Fogg and Abigail Milliken, married Samuel L. Hamblett of Worcester, VT, April, 1841 at Saco, Maine. They had a son, Isaac Fogg Hamblett, on 27 February 1842 in Saco. Samuel and Mary Jane divorced several years later. Mary Jane died in 1854 in Derby Line, VT and is buried there. Samuel, a physician, remarried in Maine and served in the Civil War in Texas. No further information is known about him.
In the divorce decree between Mary Jane Fogg and Samuel Hamblett, dated in 1848, Samuel alleges that Mary Jane left him in March, 1845. At the time, they lived in Scarborough, ME. Samuel alleges that Mary Jane left with a Solomon Berry, went to another state and lived "as his wife", and subsequently had children.
I am seeking any information regarding the children of the relationship between Mary Jane Fogg and Solomon Berry, or any information that could be useful in further researching this situation.
