John (1837) and Amelia (1836) Fogle -- Ohio?
I'm just getting started with this obsession and with the name Fogle there can be so many variations I'm not sure where to go from here. In looking at the family bible that was passed down to me the notations include:
John Fogle was born the year of our Lord June the 7 1837 (though it looks like it was originally written as 1836 and scratched over). (d. August(?) 26, 1883)
Amelia Fogle was born the year of our Lord October the 11 1836 (though again the "6" looks scratched over)
John and Amelia Fogle was married September 26, 1853 (the writing is faded but I think this is correct)
Margaret Jane Fogle was married 23 October 1881
W.W. Alexander and Milly Fogle was married Feb 21st 1889. (Milly Alexander d. October 1st, 1909)
Margaret Jane Fogle was born the year of our Lord August the 8th 1859. (d. Margaret Jane Cook, July 27, 1882)
(To faded to read. It looks like the first name starts with a "C" or a "V" or possibly it's even "Emmy") Marie Fogle was born the year of our Lord October 2 1861 (d. April 23, 1864)
William Grant Fogle was born the year of our Lord October the 29th 1864 (d. January 5, 1932
Carl Fogle was born March the 30 1867(He was my great-grandfather) (d. February 18, 1954)
Lastly, there is a referral to a Caroline Fogle who died (the month is horribly misspelled) 24, 1947.
If I have any long lost relatives out there who have additional information, please contact me through this message board or to my [email protected] address. Thanks!
