When working on a collateral line I ran across some info on a Foglesong who married a Cunningham. It listed her somewhere as a daughter of Jacob Foglesong. Perhaps another child to your Jacob. Here is the info

Sarah Foglesong married Lorenzo D. Cunningham 10-24-1866 in Madison County Iowa.
Her father was Jacob Foglesong she was 16 in 1864 so was born in about 1848 in Iowa. Her father was born in Va and her mother in Ky. Washington, Clarke, Iowa was were the census was taken.
