Foglesongs of Lewisburg/Ronceverte, WVA

Looking for help in connecting William Russell Foglesong b.1810 Lewisburg who was married to a Ellen Jameson. to Christian Foglesong of Lewisburg. Family "word of mouth" history has it that Christian is the father of William and also that Christian helped build the Old Stone Church in Lewisburg. However, I have been unable to make a documented connection. Also, word has it that Christian was given a land grant by George Washington of some land in Ronceverte. This land is still in the family but I have been unable to find if this was really a grant or a purchase. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
