Edward Daniel Foley/Edward Daniel Cronin-Co.Cork

I am seeking any info on my maternal Grandfather Edward Daniel Cronin. He was born Edward Daniel Foley in County Cork, 1876 or 1877. The family was always told that he was adopted by the Cronins after his parents-the Foleys-died. As a very young man, very likely sometime during his teenage years, he came to America and settled in Baltimore- by way of NYC- and married my Grandmother Florence Cannon(-of the Md Eastern Shore Cannons).
I believe that somewhere in Co. Cork there is a record of his birth, and who his relatives are. I know how to, here in America, obtain a copy of his Death Certificate. That should at least have his parents names listed. He died here in the Baltimore area in Jan.1967-90 years young.
