Looking for info on my 3rd great grandmother; Mary (Foley) Dunlea/Dunley/Dunlay (Her married name was spelled many different ways on the early US census's).
From what I know she was born or probably born in Co. Cork Ireland between 1800-1825. *Judging by the birth years of two of her three sons* She married William Dunley(Dunlay?) *eventually the spelling here would change to Dunlea*. All three of her sons were born in Co. Cork, Ireland and all three died in the States.;
John b1840, Co. Cork, Ire.-d.1901,Pigeon Cove, MA, USA -M- Margaret Boyle b.1840,Co.Cork, Ire.-d. 1923, Pigeon Cove, MA, USA
Micheal b1847-1921-M-Margaret Madden
William b.18??-d.???? -M- Mary A. Sullivan (b.1850-d.1899)
William Sr, and Mary Foley Dunley died in MA.
Also The family came over together William Dunley his wife Mary (Foley), the three sons, and Margaret Boyle Dunlea also had her sister with her-Littie Boyle. John was a stonecutter, or stone mason. What William sr and Mary Foley Dunley did for occupations I have no idea.
Was also told that Mary's granddaughter Johanna (Dunlea)Wilon *John's daughter*, and many of her 9 sisters wrote to living cousins/relatives in Ireland. Through what branch said cousins were related-I don't know.
Any help on this would be awesome!
