I have the DNA results from my father done on Ancestry.com. I hope to find which Moore/Foy/Foley/Clancy family we are related to. Here is my line up from information given to me by relatives:



5. Joseph F. Foley, a tailor m.1855 Bridget Clancy in St Thomas Apostle Church in Ann Arbor MI. He served in Civil War, Co K, 5th Michigan Cavalry. After his death, Bridget ran a boarding house in Ann Arbor MI.

Joseph F. Foley b. 1838 from a family of 10 children in Meeting of the Waters, Newbridge, Co Wicklow IRE. immigr. 1854.

Bridget Clancy b. 1839 in Ann Arbor MI to parents: Michael Clancy m. 1828 Mary A. 'Nora' Buckley in Providence RI. Michael Clancy b. 1800 Kilkenny IRE and Nora b. ~1800 Cork IRE. Michael immigr. 1812 MA-RI-Ann Arbor MI

Their daughter:
4. Clara Josephine Foley b. NY m. 1894 Charles Richard Moore. Clara met Charles at Univ of Mich. Married and moved to IL. Had legal practice in Davenport IA, moving to Chicago IL.

Their dau:
3. Dorothy Elizabeth Moore m.1923 James Everett Caldwell lived in Chicago IL

Their son:
2. James Richard Caldwell m.1951 Lois Faye Varvel IL
