I have a Catherine Folk (Bigham) b. July 27, 1843, Ohio, Death March 14, 1879 in Monroe Co. In, burial: Gosport Cemetery, Owen Co. IN.
Catherine is indicated as the wife of Moses Fellers, b Sept. 14, 1819, d. Jan 1, 1886 (Catherine supposedly the widowed sister of Moses' second wife, Harriet Folk)marriage date is May 28, 1871
Moses and Catherine Folk Fellers were parents ofJanius Fellers, b. May 15, 1872, twins, Moses N. and Lydia Ann Fellers, b Jan 4, 1876,, William 1878 and Alice Melinda Fellers, b. August 27, 1880, d. May, 1930.All were born in Damascus Twp, Henry County, Ohio.Lydia Ann married Carlisle E. Stevick b. Jan 10, 1862, had 3 daughters, Alma, Edith & Cora Stevick.
Alice Melinda married William Black, Nov 9, 1905 in Cascade, Putnam County, Ohio. They hadchildren:George William, Ada Mae,Charles Lavern, Edna Ann, Jerious Martin, Houston Walter.William and Alice are buried in Oklahoma.
I don't have any info on the other siblings.
I don't know if there are 2 Catherine Folk that could have married Moses FellersOr how the above mentioned Catherine was in Indiana.I find wherea Catherine Folk married a Beason Overstreet Meriwether in 1867 in Cumberland Co. Ill.If she married Moses Fellers in 1871, how did she have 2 more children by the name of Meriwether after that date.
Do you have enough info to clear this matter?
