David Folk was born in SOuth Carolina on November 28, 1819. He married Permelia A. Unknown in SC abt 1838. They had four children born in South Carolina. John 1839, jacob 1842, James 1844, Elma 1846.

The family moved to Tallededa County Alabama about 1847 or so.

Several more children were born there. Jan 1848, David 1850, Martha 1852, Joseph Warren Sept 27 1854, Mary 1856, William 1859. This inofrmation is provided by the 1860 census. If there are any more children, I dont know, I havent found a census yet for 1870.

Joseph Warren Folk married Mollie Nobles of Georgia about 1893. Their Daughter Mamie was born there in 1894. The family moved to Freestone County Texas, where the remainder of the children were born, including Maggie, Ernest, Freddie,Lula and Ethel.

It appesrs that Joseph Warren Folk was the only of the ten children to go to Texas, but Joseph, hsi children and Parents are buried in Teague Texas.

any one with information would be greatly appreciated.

My wife is a Folk Descendent, I am just the in law.
