Don't know much about William Folks except I see a William Folks in the 1840 NJ Census and a William Folks in the 1790 and 1850 Pennsylvania Census and a William Folks in 1810,1820 and 1840 Virginia Census. which one are you related to? I am amazed how many there are scattered throughout the eastern seaboard. I am looking for the parents of Folley Folks married to Dave S. Miller, both born in PA and parents of Amos Miller born in 1845 in Ontario Co. New York. Any help would be appreciated. Since there is only one Folks in the 1840 PA Census, I am not sure which direction to look. I know that they were German because there is supposed to be a German bible in the family.
