Hi Sheri,
Perhaps by now you have solved the mystery of your Charles Folks. I have in my Noble Genealogy, a family of Fooks (Folks), originally form Worcester Co. Md who settled in Clermont Co. OH. In one of the branches there was a Jonathan Fooks, who married a Lea Jones in 1833 in Oh. they they had 2 sets of twins, Mary Ann and John Fooks, James and Charles Fooks, and another child Lizzie Fooks. Unfortunately I have no birth dates on these children, but it must have been in the 1830s. I do not know where Richmond OH is, but if it is in Clermont Co. Oh or nearby these might be your family. you can contact me at gramlumom@aol.com for more info.
