John & Judith (Bailey) lived in the part of Newbury which became West Newbury in 1819 (where I still live). Judith was daughter of Paul & Emma (Carr) Bailey, and was b. 22 Sep 1787, d. 31 May 1863, buried Bridge Street Cemetery, West Newbury, Essex, MA. John was b. abt 1785, d. 7 Jul 1863, buried Bridge Street Cemetery, West Newbury, Essex, MA. I believe John's line went back: John & Mary, Francis & Mary (Dean) Follansbee, Francis & Judith (Moody) Follansbee, Thomas & Abigail (Bond), Thomas the immigrant. I haven't got solid proof of John's father being the son of Francis, but this seems the most likely connection.

My son & I manage www.follansbee.info, and we are trying to connect all the Follansbees that we can, however their name is spelled. You can find them there, but Lucy's name is spelled Lucy Demond Follansbee, in case you do a search on her.

If you'd like pictures of John & Judith's gravestones, I'd be happy to take one when spring comes. The snow is too deep right now!

Would you like any information about your line down from Lucy added to Follansbee.info? If so, please omit dates for living people.
