I have a great deal of evidence including the will of his grandfather composed in Hamsterley, County Durham. The connection between him and me, for example, was carefully traced by my brother and my father.
I live in England, was in the ancestral church last Sunday and touched the very font where Thomas was baptized. Quite an experience.
