The early Follansbees buried in West Newbury are in the Bridge Street Cemetery, and their stones are still readable. They are Thomas and his wife Abigail (Bond), their son Francis and his wife Judith (Moody). This is what the stones say:

Here lies buried the body of Mr Thomas Follansbee, who departed this life June 10, 1755, in the 81st year of his age.

Here lyes buried the body of Mrs Judah Follansby, ye wife of Mr Fransis Follansby, who died January 12, 1741, in ye 42nd year of her age.

Here lies buried the body of Mr Fransis Follansbee, who died January 26, 17478, in the 49 year of his age. [VR: son of Thomas Jr. & Abigail Follansbee.]

Here lyes buried the body of Mrs. Abigail Follansbee, the wife of Mr. Thomas Follansbee, who died October the 24, 1734, in the 74 year of her age.

I live in West Newbury, MA.
