According to the Leominster, MA, vital records, Ayers was born to Edward and Abigail 29 May 1802 in Leominster. Leominster marriages have Edward married Elizabeth Taintor 20 Sep 1791, and Edward married Abigail Farnsworth of Westminster 5 May 1812. All children of Edward and Abigail listed in the Leominster births were born between 1791 and 1804. I wonder if I wrote down the Elizabeth Taintor's first name correctly? It sounds as though it should have been Abigail. Edward's father was Francis: the line went Thomas, Thomas, Francis, Francis, Edward, Ayers.
