This is quite a story. I am Arthur Follett and I have no listing of a Gratus Follett in my family tree. However my tree goes back to three brothers that arrived in Salem, Mass in 1640. I am a decendent of Robert. Gratus may be a decendent of Edward or John. My great grandfathers sister was Mary Follett but she married Horace Mann and lived in Cherry Valley not far from Pierpont. Could this be something?
