Nadine, I have this in my database but failed to show where I got it from but maybe it will be something to look for. I have not verified the information.

Mary "Polly" FOLMAR (da. of John Nicholas FOLMAR and Elizabeth LANSDALE of Lexington Co., SC and Montgomery / Lowndes Co., AL) was born ca 1820-21 in SC and married John McRAE ca 1839. John McRAE probably died in Lowndes Co. in the 1860's. Later Polly lived for a while in Pike Co., AL, but around 1885 she went to Texas, where she died. The children of John and Polly (FOLMAR) McRAE were these:

Mary Ann b. ca 1840; m. James O'TOOL, _____ AUQUA, & _____ EVANS

Joseph b. ca 1843 (prob. died Civil War)

Jesse Worth b. ca 1848 m. Octavia FAULKNER; d. in TX

George b. ca 1852; d. in TX

John Henderson b. 1855, m. Charity MORRISON; d. 1886 Pike Co., AL

Rebecca b. 1857, m. Oliver H. RODGERS; d. 1901 Pike Co., AL

Patrick Henry b. 1858, m. Allie Tabitha McCRARY; d. 1900 Pike Co., AL

Abraham b. ca 1860, m. ?; d. ?
