Hi,

I hope this gets to you. LOL

I think we might be researching the same family??
I might be able to help you.

My line has the FONNER/BOSLET/EDMISTON's in it as well.

As to George W. Fonner
(George Washington Fonner)
His parents were
John Fonner December 30, 1839 to May 15, 1884
Served in the 49th Pa Inf and is buried in Antis Cemetery, Pinecroft, Blair Co., Pa
Sarah Unknown 1838 to Bet. 1881 - 1899 (She isn't on the 1900 census that I can find yet)

George Washington Fonner September 28, 1860 to January 28, 1930
married only the one time that I know of that was to
Sarah L. Robeson July 26, 1856 to November 27, 1921.

Sarah had been married before to John Thompson. So when she married George she was Sarah Thompson.
She also had a daughter with John named Florence.

With George, Sarah had David Milton Fonner, Cora A. Fonner, Viola Mae Fonner, Charles W. Fonner, and Aden W. Fonner.

1. David m. Veora Musselman
2. Cora m. Grant Skipper
3. Viola Mae m. Walker Edmiston
4. Charles d. 1927 & I don't think he ever married
5. Aden died at age 13

Now, Walker Edmiston's parents were William Samuel Edmiston and Anna Elizabeth Cherry.

Anna married to Samuel Burket after William Samuel Edmiston died in 1900. Anna and William Samuel Edmiston had at least 6 children; Harvey, Frank, Walker, Clyde, Mary, and Samuel.

Samuel Burket's first wife, Elizabeth Treese Burket, died December 27, 1897. They had at leasat 8 kids together; Dessie, Lucy, Archie, Anna Martha, James, Clifton, Frances, Roberta. But Samuel & Anna didn't have kids together.

Anna's parents are James Jacob Cherry & Annie Elizabeth Black.

William Samuel Edmiston's parents are William Edmiston & Jane Tipton.

If you go to findagrave.com you can see the grave stones for them and also find more information that I added as well as a few others.

I hope this helps??

Nevada
