Hi Rosie!! So good to hear from you!! Been thinking of you!! I knew you might be able to help, or at least couldn't resist a swing at this one.. ha!! The more I think on it, logic tells me that there has to be more Fontenot's... geographically speaking we know where they used to be all located, but over the years that no longer holds true. But the Fontenot's had such large families. I haven't heard from the Hebert's yet ... I'm sure you're familiar with "Fontenot Hatchery" in Vidrine? We used to tell visitors all the time that's why there were so many Fontenot's in the area. I wonder if it's still there?
Yes that Guillory book should be interesting. I could use it also. Of course they are all over my family tree too. In fact, I need to skim over my tree again for those names you just listed here to see if it might be something extra for me. I haven't worked on gen. in a while.
Thanks Rosie, and good to see you still around.OH! Did you go to the Fontenot reunion this year? I haven't heard anything of it this year, other than an invitation I received.
