Ok Gertrude Ellen was my grandmother. She married
Charles Kenneth McCallister (from Garretts bend in Lincoln county) and they had 12 children. Family joke is ... my grandpa a lincoln county McCallister married a Putnam county Mccallister...people say are we related? We have no way of knowing. The children were as follows:

William Cade born 8/8/08
Vada Agnes born 06/18/10
Howard David born 07/05/12
Lester 1914
Ada Virginia born 3/26/16
Earl Richard born 7/15/17
Ivan O'dell born 12/9/19
Ida mae 1925
Orin kenneth 08/08/31 (My Dad)

The oldest and the youngest were born on the same day 23 years apart.
Many of the children died in infancy; this info came from my
Aunt Vada, who raised my dad from age 6, when Gertrude
died of umbilical hernia according to the death certificate,
but Aunt Vada said her "bowels locked"

I *think* Gertrude was born about March 19, 1888 and she died July 31, 1937.

I remember Uncle Sam Foose coming to my aunt Vada's house and my Dad talks about remembering him. Wonder who Narnin was? Ohh... I love it when things start to click!!
