Searching for infomation and descendants of John S. FOOTE, b June 1859 in NY, d 1819, buried in St. Peter's Episcopal Cemetery, Cheshire, CT. (Census records say his parents were born in CT. I have been unable to find a matching family to learn who his parents were.)

He married 8 Set 1885 in New Haven, CT to Annie M. DOOLITTLE, b. 26 Oct 1862 in Cheshire, CT. She was the daughter of Oliver Taylor DOOLITTLE and Alice G. ISBELL.

John was listed as a life insurance salesman on the census, which may have caused his frequent moves. Their children were born in CT, OH, and PA. John is listed in Whitemarsh, PA with his family in 1900. He was living in Denver, CO in 1910, while Annie remained in Philadelphia with the children.

Their children:
1. Andrew Hull FOOTE b. 1887 d. 1962 NYC, m. Anna Lived in PA and Bronx, NY. (no children)
2. Anna Modjeska FOOTE b. 1889 d. 1958 (never married)

John, Anna, Alice, and Robert are buried together at St. Peter's Church Cemetery, Cheshire, CT.

John's wife Annie, remarried a second cousin, Thomas Doolittle, and he buried her near her parents in the same cemetery.

The oldest son, Andrew, is buried in Long Island Natnl Cemetery.

Please contact me with any information about John, or his children's families.
