Foote/Sargent/Sawyer/Childs line
Posted by: Mary Martin (ID *****2902) Date: December 22, 2011 at 14:27:29

I believe my 9th great grandfather to be Pasco Foote, but I am very confused about the Pascos. I have my Pasco having a son, Capt Samuel Foote, my 8th great grandfather who married a Hannah Currier, and his daughter Hannah Foote as being my 7th great grandmother. Hannah Foote married a Charles Sargent and they had a Timothy Sargent, my 6th great grandfather and there were two more Timothys who were my 5th and 4th great grandfathers. The 4th great Timothy married a Asenth Tillotson and they had a daughter, Mindwell Sargent, my 3rd great grandmother who married Benjamin Carter Sawyer. Their son, Hiram Sawyer was my 2nd great grandfather and his daughter, Mary Mindwell Sawyer , who married George Alanson
Childs, was my great grandmother. Her son, George Jay Childs was my grandfather. I am very sure about the Sawyer and Childs, a fairly sure about the Sargent line, but would like to know if anyone has any info about this line starting with the Foote family? Or maybe explain again about the Pascos with dates if you have them? I have read info on various sites, but I still am confused. Thanks for any help. Mary
