I do not know of an Aquilla in my line, so I went to the Garrett fforum and saw message #1574 about the descendants of John Garrett II (1633-1706) and Elizabety Ware (1634-). I don't believe this John is the same as my line. There is a John who was descended from William who was some type of peer. That, I think, is the one who md Eliz. Ware. So your wife would be of another Garrett line. I've seen those names in the same area as mine. So we're not related there, but could possibly be linked through Foote.
