I would be very interested if you make that link. My Garrett line also settled in Kansas, but in Chase County. Those families connected through Union County, OH before moving to Kansas.

There is an interesting family story that "Rachel Foote Burson" carried messages for the Revolutionary Forces. We've been unable to find this Rachel - she married a Burson who could "trace his descent from William Penn's first colony in America".

I wonder if Margaret Foote (m. Thomas Garrett) is being mixed up with a Rachel Burson in this story. Perhaps it was Margaret Foote who carried the messages.
