My greatgrandfather, Louis Onetto (1848-1943), had a sister, Mary, who married a Foppiano. Do you know your Mary's maiden name? This Onetto family was from the small hill village of Cicagna, near Genoa. There was also a sister named Catherine (1862-1941) who married Louis Cavagnaro. After a brief stay in NYC in 1866, Louis lived his life in Bflo NY. His sister, Catherine, came to visit, married and stayed in Buffalo. Does this sound like your Mary Foppiano?
