I was pleased to here from one of my kin folk in regard to the Foppiano family.

I do not have any pictures myself, there is a picture in the History of Wheeler County printed in 1983 of John and Mary Asti Foppiano by their great grand-daughter Barbra Collins Ferenstein.

I don't have a lot on Steven Foppiano. I believe his name was Stephano and I have reason to believe he was a cousin to Billy Foppiano, John Foppiano, and Kate Prato. I have found what I believe to be the families when they immigrated to the USA in 1851, and there were two families. The others referred to him as a brother, but they may have considered him a brother as they all grew up together in St. Louis Missouri. I am a great grand-son of Mammie Quirollo, her mother was a Sister to Billy, John, and Kate.

I would like to know more about Steven if you have the information like where is he buried?, when did he die?, and any thing else. I believe he was born about 1849 in Italy.

I have done a paper on the Foppianos and have found more information to add to it and some mistakes I need to correct. I would be glad to share my paper with you if you provide me with an email address or physical address.
