Walter James Fouracre
Posted by: David Fouracre (ID *****3292) Date: September 30, 2002 at 05:11:25

Can anyone help me to trace the origins of my great-grandfather, Walter James Fouracre? He was born in Bristol, England in 1849, I believe. He married Frances Perrin (who was also born in Bristol) in Birmingham, England on December 24th, 1876 but his father is not identified on the marriage certificate. At the time of the 1901 Census Walter, Frances and their eight children were living at 168 Nags Head Road, Enfield, Middlesex and had previously lived in London. I believe Walter later lived at 92 Silver Street, Edmonton, north London. Bristol Register Office has no record of his birth, and nor does the General Record Office.
Any leads or ideas would be much appreciated.
