G’day Bob, Rachael and other Fordie researchers,

My Lennie/Currie/Fordie line is as follows:

Williamina Lennie b. Stronsay, Orkney 1853. Williamina gave birth to Ada Reid aka Lennie at Edinburgh in 1874. (Illegitimate)

Williamina married William Kay Currie at Edinburgh in 1877

Ada Reid aka Lennie now known as Ada Currie marries Hamilton John Fordie in 1885 at Edinburgh. Hamilton’s parents are shown as John Hamilton Fordie, Assessor of Income Tax and Janet Fordie M.S. Wallace. The only child from this marriage is Mona Lennie Hamilton Fordie b. 1907.

Mona marries Jack Stevenson and they migrate to Perth, Western Australia. The only child from this marriage is Ada who resides in Western Australia.

Ada is married and has two sons and 5 grandchildren.

If you think you might be related to this Fordie line or are related to one of Hamilton John Fordie’s parents or siblings, I would be pleased to hear from you.

Regards,

Ron,
From a wet and windy Melbourne.
