Hi Carol

I did wonder where you dissapeared to! lol I thought we lost touch because I didn't e-mail anyone for ages following the birth of my son.

So is your Grandfather Edward who married Harriet Booth?
I have lost a lot of information after our pc got a virus and had to be formatted.

I have been searching the internet for info on Brompton Barracks at Chatham, as the info I have says Edward Fordie b.abt 1841 was a bandman in the Royal Engineers.

See you later

Rachael
