Barb,

All I know about Bessie Lee Fore is: she was born in March 1897 in Henderson County; she married Richard Clingman Capps (b. 1897 in Henderson County; died Nov 1962 in Black Mountain, NC); she died 4 Feb 1932 in a Boston, Mass. hospital following surgery for a brain tumor. She and Richard Clinman Capps had two sons: Richard Lee Capps, (b. 9 Mar 1927; d. 12 Jul 1989) and Clingman Carter Capps (b. Mar 1931).

After Bessie Lee's death, Richard Clingman Capps married Nell Kent, and they had a daughter Julia Ann "Judy" Capps (b. 1936 in Black Mountain, NC).

Any help about Bessie Lee Fore's family would be greatly appreciated! I have been told that both she and Richard Clingman Capps attended Mars Hill College, Mars Hill, NC, but I have no documentation or dates for their attendance.
