We have been compiling a tree of Foreys, mainly in London and Surrey, and have some info on William George, bn circa 1864 - although we have not been able to find his birth, we presume this is the same person.
1881 census - (133/11) 15 Upper Rathbone Road, French Polisher, with parents (William and Emily), 3 brothers and uncle.
Married 1906 Elizabeth Beatrice Chandler at Holy Trinity, W Ham. Died 1922 at Dawlish (but resident at Cambridge).

Father William bn circa 1834, baptised 1843 St Anne Soho. 1851 census (1510/250) 16 Little Dean Street, as apprentice to Copper plate printer. Married 1862 Emma Webb at St Martin-in-the-Fields, died 1915 West Ham.

Grandfather James bp 1794 St Anne Soho. Married (1) 1819 Ann Mann at St Anne Soho (2) 1845 Ann Wade at St Martin-in-the-Fields. Copper plate printer. Died 1869 Marylebone.
He is our ancestor.

We have further 6 generations back in Puttenham, Peper Harrow and Thursley, Surrey. Earliest is Phillippe Foorie, married Joane Denier 1615 at Thursley.

Hope this is helpful. We would be happy to exchange further information.
